This autumn Trollbeads offers a stunning new collection of zodiac signs combined with plenty of glass in lots of new colours and designs, silver to appeal to the more abstract tastes, and to top it all off three beautiful precious stones. 

With three new silver designs Trollbeads  introduces a new designer to the mix – Kim Buck – and reintroduces the winner of the Museum event – Big Earth.

And finally we have a bounty of precious stones – Golden Quartz, Chalcedony and the absolutely stunning Tiger Eye – to add some sparkle.

 

Trollbeads promised us the release the Earth bead with the Autumn 2010 Collection.  Coming shortly after August 16th we will have the new collection available.  On Monday we will be able to show you pictures of the new collection and the beads should be on the way to the Trollbeads Trail.  There will be 12 new glass, and a zodiac series in sterling.  A new designer has also offered her new designs to the collection.  More news will be coming to you on the 16th.   For now it is all hush-hush!

The collection consists of four different earring hooks in silver, silver/gold, silver/brilliant, and gold/brilliant, as well as 20 earring accessories in silver, gold plated silver, Amethyst, Rose Quartz, Black Onyx, Chalcedony and Green Prehnite. Eight different designers have contributed to the collection including two new recruits – Thor Hoy and Anna Hylested.

Look for pictures to be posted on June 15th.  Earrings and accessories should be arriving the first week in July  to Santa Fe Trail Jewelry.  As with any release, we cannot promise the arrival date of these new products.

The Trollbeads Museum event is now closed! Over 14,000 votes were cast and almost every bead in the Museum received at least one vote but there was one clear winner…

EARTH!

 This bead has been voted back into the collection! This is the only Museum bead that can be found in the permanent collection!  Earth  came to life in 2000 the same year that the Trollbeads ‘bead on bracelet’ concept was copied for the first time.

The design for Earth was a collaborative effort between Nicolas Aagaard and his grandfather Svend Nielsen.  You’ll find Earth at your local retailer along with our Autumn Collection in August 2010.

The initial offering of colorful, glass Haiti Empowerment beads was released in late February 2010. Lund Trading, in partnership with Trollbeads Denmark, our retailers and sales representatives, will donate $14.00 from every Haiti Empowerment bead purchase to Humanity for Humanity. Lund Trading has promised Habitat for Humanity a minimum donation of $100,000. Habitat for Humanity’s goal is to provide housing solutions to 50,000 low-income Haitian families over the next five years.

In order to include all consumers in this worthy cause, Trollbeads has designed and manufactured Empowerment beads to fit Trollbeads bracelets as well as similar beaded bracelets. It is our hope that the beads’ message of love and support will strengthen all those affected by this disaster.

In light of January’s devastating earthquake in Haiti, Trollbeads is proud to offer a new set of Empowerment beads.
