In light of January’s devastating earthquake in Haiti, Trollbeads is proud to offer a new set of Empowerment beads. Half of all proceeds from the sale of these beads will go to Habitat for Humanity to aid in stabilizing and rebuilding Haiti’s infrastructure. Habitat has been working in Haiti for 26 years and is helping Haitians rebuild their homes and reclaim hope.

There are 10 exclusive, limited edition beads that have been designed to work with Trollbeads and other beaded bracelets. We thank you for your support of this important cause. Beads pictured may vary from the actual beads.

For those of you who may be new to Trollbeads, the Empowerment Bead Program was created for the sole purpose of promoting charitable contributions through the Trollbeads dealer network. As a gift for the winning movie clips in the “Be Original – The Movie” contest, participants received a beautiful Amazonite bead. Trollbeads said Amazonite is not yet available in the Trollbeads collection, but hopefully very soon we can offer them to everyone.

For my winning movie clips, I received these two lovely beads and a card from Trollbeads that reads:

Trollbeads has added the newest bead to its collection and it is a winner and an inspiration. I have been inspired by receiving my free bead from Trollbeads in Denmark and just today designed this bracelet with all the things that the Pax bead represents. Included in my design are:

Planet, 2 Rainbows, Unity, Heart Chakra, Harmony, Wisdom, Lamb, Grey Wolf, Lion (peacefully living together), Golden Cave, Friendship, Pax, Earth and Spiral (which I believe as the symbol for our journey here on this Earth).

Anyone that entered a design for the People’s Bead 2009 contest was given the Pax bead. This huge gift to over 8,000 entries from Trollbeads makes me so very proud to be a dealer for them here in America.
