Trollbeads has added the newest bead to its collection and it is a winner and an inspiration.  I have been inspired by receiving my free bead from Trollbeads in Denmark and just today designed this bracelet with all the things that the Pax bead represents.  Included in my design are:

Planet, 2 Rainbows, Unity, Heart Chakra, Harmony, Wisdom, Lamb, Grey Wolf, Lion (peacefully living together), Golden Cave, Friendship, Pax, Earth and Spiral (which I believe as the symbol for our journey here on this Earth).

Anyone that entered a design for the People’s Bead 2009 contest was given the Pax bead.  This huge gift to over 8,000 entries from Trollbeads makes me so very proud to be a dealer for them here in America.

The Peoples Bead contest challenged Trollbeads fans to design a bead that was inspired by people, selected by people, and designed by one person you: to be released as part of the 2009 Autumn Collection.   And the winner is:

PAX, a simple, elegant and powerful bead symbolizing peace was designed by Suzanne Hopping, a graphic designer from Sydney, Australia.

Suzanne’s Inspiration…
“Peace is something I hold close to my heart as my mum and dad met in a Prisoner of War camp in Germany during WWII, and I am very well aware of the suffering they went through.”    Suzanne wanted to choose a subject that “connects, involves and resonates with every person on earth in the same way” with a bead that “transends genders and generations.”

Trollbeads Trail has a few coming in to start, so call me for availability.  I expect the Pax bead will fly as quickly as the Summer Butterfly!  We hope production will get caught up and they will be available for everyone soon.
